The OptiSense Electro Optic High Voltage Sensor measures distribution voltages for 15 kV to 69 kV Voltage Classes.
The OptiSense Electro Optic Combination Sensor measures the voltages of the High Voltage Sensor and incorporates continuous and fault current measurement.
The sensors use a patented optical Pockels cell as well as a patent pending Faraday cell within an innovative housing that allows for safe, live line field installations. Smaller and lighter in weight compared to potential transformers, the sensor allows placement in locations where the use of conventional measurement devices is impractical, or impossible.
